Dj Mix Efficiency
Are they only for bedroom use or will they be used at parties or in clubs? For bedroom use, there are lots of basic models that allow us to mix two tracks together, but have few other features.
If you love to be the center of the party and you love mixing songs for your audience to dance and party, then you might want to learn how to be a good DJ. Indeed, being a DJ needs skills and that musical ability as well.
If you want to get there, here are some tips that can help you become a good DJ.
Are you going to beat match and mix tracks together or just play tracks one after the other? If you don't intend to mix tracks together then the most basic of CD DJ player will suffice. If you do want to mix tracks together, as most of us will, then you are going to need decks that have pitch control and some means of manually manipulating the CD. This second function normally comes in the form of a jog wheel, which emulates the appearance of a traditional vinyl turntable.
Just how much do you want to be able to manipulate the CD? If you only want to search for cue points or move the track forwards/backwards, then most, if not all, CD decks will do this. If you want to manipulate the CD as you would a vinyl record, then you will need to purchase a CD deck that has a 'vinyl-mode' setting. Modern CD decks with vinyl-mode even allow us to scratch on a CD, exactly as we would on a vinyl turntable.
New to mixing and worried about getting your tracks beat matched and in time? In this case, you may want to choose a deck that has a digital BPM readout. Some decks even have an auto-BPM-lock feature. This allows the DJ to be able to set a master BPM on the deck, and for songs to be perfectly synchronised together at the touch of a button.
1. Learn and practice to have a well-modulated voice. Of course, people have an impression that if you are a DJ, you must have that soothing voice that can enliven the party or make great introductions to songs. Whether you opt to be a DJ in radio stations or in live parties, you must work on having a well-modulated voice with the right pace.
Portability. Are your CD decks going to sit in one location or are you going to want to be able to easily transport them about with you? There are now some very good, compact decks available now that have a footprint that matches with a mixer, allowing two CD DJ players and the mixer to fit into a relatively small flight case. Most modern CD decks are far more portable than their vinyl counterparts.
2. Mixing is a skill you need to learn to be a good DJ. You have to mix to make the sound better not irritating to the ears.

Well, in Jeddah, theres the Jeddah International Trade Center. Yes, its old (about 20+ years) but if youre looking for that level of Audio and Video, Yamaha, Sony, Samsung, the rest that we never heard of because its no where near consumer electronics, then thats where they stretch their legs to the fullest. If that type of Audio/Video equipment was just released in Japan, then its shipped there right away, if not o nthe same day. The glamorous, shiny, huge and expensive malls and outlets (which we seriously have too many of) sell at the regular consumer level: MP3s,TVs,PCs,Laptops,Software, etc. the works. So I hope that helped.
2011's Indie Rock Hero: NPR Gives It Up For John Congleton... (The Daily Swarm)
NPR:
> The job of a music producer, engineer or mixer is rarely one that will make
someone a star. Unless you're a George Martin, Brian Eno, or Timbaland, hard
work behind the scenes in the studio can be a selfless task. But thumb through
the liner notes of records released in the last few years and you'll see John
Congleton's name pop up again and again. As one of indie rock's in-demand
producers, engineers, mixers, Congleton is a utility player whose musical
fingerprints are all over a ton of stellar recordings from Explosions in the
Sky, The Walkmen, Shearwater, and even the sludge metal band Baroness.
>
> While Congleton has been at this now for more than a decade — he co-runs
Dallas' Elmwood Recording with engineer Stuart Sikes — 2011 was particularly
big for him. An astonishing 20 records released this year have his
fingerprints on them in one way or another. These include some of the year's
finest albums: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's _Hysterical_, Hospital Ships'
_Lonely Twin_, Mountain Goats' _All Eternals Deck_, Wye Oak's _Civilian_, and
many more.
