Different Types Of Hand Mixer
An electric hand mixer is extremely small useful appliances. These little tools can hand just about any blending that you need to do with ease. They come in corded and cordless. They can do just about everything the larger standing mixers can do. You can mix batter and dough, make different spreads and mash potatoes in just about any container that you would like. If you want a smooth batter you will need on of these mixers.
There are several different varieties and brands of hand mixer. Each brand has its own pros and cons. The one that you choose will depend on the amount you are going to use it as well as what you are going to use it for. They come in cordless and corded versions and in different powers as well.
The Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer is one of the leading brands. They make several different varieties of hand mixer. Kitchen Aid is one of the larger manufacturers of kitchen appliances. They have a great reputation for providing a powerful and durable product. Like most mixers their hand mixers have usually either five or seven speeds.
As with most hand mixers the Kitchen Aid comes with the full gambit of accessories. They come with the standard beaters but you can buy different attachments for different jobs. Most of their mixers come in a variety of colors to match any kitchen decor.
Another popular brand of hand mixer is the Cuisinart hand mixer. These powerful little mixers are very similar to the Kitchen Aid mixer. They come in five or seven speed motors. This hand mixer also comes in different colors and styles. You can match your hand mixer to your kitchen if you would like a set.
These two brands are comparable in just about everything except for design. The handle design is a bit different between the two. Their motors, function, and blade clasps are very similar. Each comes with a bunch of different accessories and models. There is a different accessory for what ever you would like to do.
A hand mixer is a great tool for anyone who likes to cook or bake. These small kitchen appliances can handle most mixing jobs very easily. Whether you are mixing, mashing, or baking these hand mixers can get the job done quickly.
IK Multimedia introduces new iRig mic, mixer, and stompbox at CES (TUAW)
IK Multimedia is showing off new products in the North Hall of CES 2012 in Las
Vegas this week, and they were one of our first stops around the Las Vegas
Convention Center. IK Multimedia is behind the popular Amplitube software, and
has seen a lot of success with the iRig guitar port for iOS, and its followup,
the iRig mic.
In fact, given all of that success, IK is really going all out with the iRig
brand, introducing a slew of new products to both bring audio in and out of
iOS devices. The most impressive new tool on display at the show is the iRig
Mix, a mobile two-track mixer that's designed to work with your iPhone or
iPad. At its base, this is just a really solid mixer -- audio comes in via two
1/8" jacks at the top, and while those jacks are meant for iPad or iPhone
audio, they'll really work with any input of that kind. Each side of the mixer
has separate knobs for gain, treble, and bass, and of course either track can
be cued through another headphone jack at the bottom and buttons above ...
