i have just got a hd 720p waterproof sport helmet camera cam dvr ,i have read the manuel and try edd the camera out in my fish tank ,the problem i have is that it only records for a few seconds i only have a small memory card 2 gig if i get a bigger gig card will this let me record longer ,i hope someone has got one to so thay can tell me if im doing something wrong or not ...thanks jay
I don't know which camera you have, but a 2GB card should record for more than a few seconds.
I rent ContourHD cameras to people for skiing and mountain biking. They come with 2GB cards. The first thing I do is replace that with an 8GB card. When these cameras are set at 720p, even at the highest quality and a 60 frames per second rate, they will hold 8 minutes per GB. So I can't imagine that your camera will fill up a 2GB card in only a few seconds.
I typically set the cameras to a low quality 720p and a 30 frames per second rate which allows them to capture 30 minutes of footage per GB.
